Inspiration is an amazing thing, it can come from anywhere, and can change the way we think and perceive forever. The walkman was conceived in 1979 by the then Sony chairman, Ibuka. Wanting to listen to operas on long flights he told his tape recorder division to design a small tape player for his personal use. Seeing potential in his idea, but little knowing its influence would be exponential, Sony produced and marketed its Walkman to astounding success. It was a revolution that would change everything. We love inspiration, and in turn, we love to inspire, because even the littlest bit of strategic inspiration can influence a whole world.
